Alex is an UKCP Registered Existential Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with over ten years' experience of working with many presenting issues (including addiction at Marylebone Centre and bereavement at St Joseph's Hospice in Hackney).  He trained at the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology at Regent's College where he is now a Visiting Lecturer. He also has an MA in Psychoanalytic Studies.

She has worked as a sexual health advisor and rape crisis worker. She has a particular interest in working with young people and with inappropriate and diverse sexual behaviours. She was a teacher before training as a psychosexual therapist. She has NHS experience in sex therapy at the Victoria Clinic and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Additionally, she has worked for Relate as a therapist and the Brook Advisory (a young people's sexual health organization).

She is a founding member and Secretary to ATSAC (Association for the Treatment of Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity). As a therapist, her approach is integrative and has a training base in psychodynamic, attachment, cognitive behavioural and systemic theory.

 

Howard Martin

Howard Martin runs the low cost clinic. He came to psychotherapy with an interest in ecological and environmental issues. He has an MSc in Environmental Forestry from the University of Wales, Bangor. He holds a further MSc in Intergrative Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute and Middlesex University. He brings with him extensive experience and expertise in the treatment of sexual addiction.
